It is my desire for you to know the love of God demonstrated through the Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) and how His love can change your life as you live out His truth.
Yeshua said in Luke 4:18, quoting the Prophet Isaiah, that the spirit of the Lord is upon Him because He has been anointed to:
- Preach good news of God’s kingdom to the poor
- Proclaim freedom for prisoners
- Recovery of sight to the blind
- Release the oppressed
- Proclaim the year of our Lord’s favor.
God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. From this passage, I see five points, and it is these points that I want to emphasize while you are with us:
- That the Good News is being preached to Jews & Gentiles, men & women in Frederick and around the world (Acts 1:8)
- That people are being freed from the bondage of sin and sickness (Isaiah 53)
- That eyes are being opened to what His Spirit is doing and His purposes in people’s lives (John 9:25)
- That there is deliverance from demonic oppression and possession (Matthew 12:27)
- That the favor of the Lord is being extended to individuals and families (1 Chronicles 4:10).
With an heart open and mind, I know you will receive all that God desires for you. His thoughts toward you are good and not evil. The Lord bless and keep you in Yeshua our Messiah.
